While doing fieldwork trapping rare species and conducting road kill surveys in winter, we'd eventually get SO TALL from all the mud accumulating under our boots, it was pretty amazing.
Who knew you could teeter around on giant all-leather hiking books. Until then, I'd thought it was just heels that caused one to teeter. =)
