Garden in May

Do you ever wonder what you should be doing in your garden in a particular month?

As a freelance writer, I write a few monthly gardening articles and newsletters.

So, instead of writing an entirely new blog post, here is my latest “What To Do In The Garden” article for the Southwest that I wrote for Houzz.com

(I hope you don’t think I am lazy, but I would rather not write the same thing twice 😉

She does this through her consulting services, her online class Desert Gardening 101, and her monthly membership club, Through the Garden Gate. As she likes to tell desert-dwellers, "Gardening in the desert isn't hard, but it is different."

I soooo need this. Just pulled my lettuce out and I'm wondering what I need to put in it's place. Going over to check it out now. Thanks!

I just planted a bunch of succulents and trailing lantana in my front and back yard. I'm bummed though because it took me a year to plan everything out and now we're moving :(. So I guess I planted them for the next people.
