Those are very pretty flowers. My Mom moved to AZ a few months ago. All I've heard is how hot the summer is. Is winter a better time to garden there?

The ones I come across in my place is such you can even determine where they begin & where they end. And speaking of wild - they all have thorns, spikes and nasty.

I guess it must be the "desert" thing.
