I have enjoyed having a first row seat as my sister raises chickens on Double S Farms.

Lucy is an extraordinary layer and produces light-blue eggs.

My sister is now on her second batch of chickens and they are getting along well with their ‘bigger’ sisters.
Minnie lays light-brown eggs.
So what is the difference between big and little chickens beside age?
They lay different sized eggs….
I am enjoying being at home with my kids for spring break this week.  But, I still have a bit of work do to.
– I’m writing a feature article for Birds & Blooms magazine.
– Preparing for 10 garden how-to videos to be filmed in my garden next month for SheKnows.com
 – Designing and implementing a butterfly / hummingbird garden on a golf course.
– I will be debuting a custom blog design and logo.  I have been working with a wonderful graphic artist and am so excited at what she has done so far.  I can’t wait until she is finished!
