I frequently freeze my freshly-harvested herbs into ice cubes so that they are easily on hand, even when they are out of season.

    I like to freeze mine in those little tiny containers you get with take out for your salad dressing or barbecue sauce… perfect size… has a nice little tight-fitting lid you can write “chives” or “oregano” or whatever is inside.
